In 1968 the defining watch of the decade was presented: the Golden Ellipse. The design of the Golden Ellipse was of superb simplicity that it almost instantly became Patek Philippe's most identifiable timepiece.
This piece is accompanied by the 'Extract of the Archives' confirming that it was manufactured in 1972 and sold in 1973.
