DESCRIPTION
In 1999 François-Paul Journe presented a first collection of wristwatches bearing his name on the dial. From this moment on, he already used the Latin wording “Invenit et Fecit” meaning “invented and made” – which is not just a slogan, but a core value behind the brand based in Geneva. Each of the watches the Maison produces result from an entirely original and unique conception by François-Paul Journe, with the goal to link the golden age of horology (18th century) with contemporary watchmaking.
The present example is a 2008 “Octa Divine” model which is part of the CLASSIQUE collection featuring a 36mm 18K rose gold case, and the typical F.P.Journe rose gold movement (Cal. 1300.3). In April 2023, the timepiece has been fully serviced by F.P.Journe. The authenticity certificate and the service invoice are accompanying the watch.
